Spaces in Between

Ted Aoki talked about the spaces in between the student, teacher and subject taught as being the important aspect of learning.

I am completing 30 credits in my Masters of Education program. I can see that it is not the content of those courses which is most important. Rather it is the spaces in between the courses and the connections I have made with my new learning.

In that space, there are some important concepts:

Digital Nomadic Student (Lonely/Not lonely)

PLN - Personal Learning Network

Just-in-time, Just-for-me learning

Cloud computing

Open education

Transparent and professional

Pushback - scholar, leader, teacher-librarian (recognize resistance as chance to re-examine)
